My 14th birthday was the next month so I was by far the latest in the family so far.

One of my friends got hers when she was 9, and another when she was 10. I got mine when I was almost 12, but my birthdays late so basically I was 12. As for your question, regular bras I find more comfortable and give me more confidence. Sports bras are better for sports or doing heavy work. But I'm only a A cup, so there really isn't much difference for me.
