I plan to get a small tattoo on my left hip bone (why? because I'm young and stupid) however I have no idea what to get it of. Any ideas?

Um, I guess you shouldn't ask me, because I'm against tattoos. I just... I dunno, it's just like once they're on, they're there for good. I wouldn't like having some blaring black or blue picture emblazoned on myself, because I feel it would draw too much attention to parts of me that I don't want attention drawn to. =P

It has to be something that really means something to you or else you're gonna regret it. Do not get a tattoo anywhere else then a professional establishment. Tattoos are expensive, but they are worth it considering how dangerous street tattoos are. One of my friends got a sublime sun from this crack head, and he really messed up. I have a lot of tattoos, so I guess I can't really be chastising anyone, but it is better to wait until you're 18.

I already know a place, my friend has several and she's younger than me. My body is my own, I can get a tattoo if I want one. I know plenty of people younger then me who have gotton tattoos that have gone fine.

Good, so what are you into for tattoos? Do you like designs, or animals, or flowers, you could even get a phrase or two. I have a couple phrases on my back in Irish and it looks pretty cool. If your religious, scripture looks really pretty as a tattoo. The possibilities are endless.

I have a Mockingjay henna on my ankle at the moment cause I love Hunger Games. Think about the Things that you love, and find something that represents that to you.

I think celtic knots, and I think a small, intricate thing like that isn't amazingly obnoxious and won't go out of style.

As someone has already stated, make sure it means something to you. Don't just get a flower because it's pretty. Think it through and don't rush into any decision.

I'll probably never have a tattoo, but if I got one it would probably be a treble clef/bass clef heart or some other kind of musical symbol. I would just go with something small that would never lose its meaning.

I would get a quote or song lyric that has REAL significance to your life or as you get older you can add your kids names somewhere, although I don't suggest adding your boyfriend's name or your husbands.

I plan to get the second amendment, but that may not be your speed. xD Maybe a quote? I don't know, I'm a fan of words.

i did 2 roses one black one red and their stems intertwined......... i also have a smal 4leaf clover on my right hipbone, a japanse charater on the underside of my left wrist and the word "pain" on the inside of my left ankle

Just remember: once you get a tattoo, it's there to stay and It'll look really weird when you get old and wrinkly. But if you MUST I suppose I would either get a dragon or a phoenix.

choose something close to your heart. for instance if you love music, get a small musical note. and so forth. choose something that you want to last forever

I'm planning on getting a yin-yang symbol on my wrist, and a rose on my palm, the vine spiraling up my arm. Yeah, you should pick something that means something to you.
