Hey, everyone! I just joined; this community looks very cool, and I'm looking forward to a great time on here.
So, I can't be the only aspiring scriptwriter on Teen Ink. I've been wanting for a long time now to do a collaborative effort to write a screenplay, whether for a short or a feature, with a writer my age. (I'm in high school)
If you're interested in talking with me about this, reply back, and maybe we can start something.

I love writing scripts! It doesn't seem like there are enough script writers here. I wrote 4 musicals, 1 stage play and 1 screenplay and I would definitely be interested in collaborating! Let me know if you would be interested!

@JUSTdream - Yay! Wow; that's more than I can say. I have two, technically three short scripts done, and I have a feature that's in the idea phase. Do you use any sort of software for writing? I use Celtx.

When I write scripts, I just use Google Docs, and if I'm making a video out of it, then I use iMovie... brainstorm-wise, well, it could be like a ghost story or something, like a campfire story

I either just use Microsoft Word or Celtx - which is free online. It might be easier if we could actually discuss something for a brainstorm? Maybe?

maybe-- random idea-- we could do something about the curse of King Tut (have you heard of that), and then have him bargain with the gods of the afterlife, and then return to get revenge on the descendents on those who murdered him (who also robbed his tomb before it was sealed), and they are watching The Walking Dead, and he comes up like, "how piteously ironic," and the screen goes black.....

I think that is pretty cool though! I do really like the whole ancient egypt thing. Who doesn't love a good ancient curse? So, were you thinking a screenplay? Or stage play?
