Um, hey, just wondering...what IS a beta reader? What's the difference between them and a critique reader?

I'm pretty sure that a beta reader is someone who helps edit your work before you post it, whereas a critic would tell you how to make your work better, or what is wrong with it, or gives you feedback once it's published. I think...
