I live in Japan and, although its AWESOME, I'm homeschooled and where i live, there aren't that many people my age to talk to.
I've homeshooled my whole life, in a neighborhood of ENTIRELY RETIREES, besides my family. I literaly have no friends besides on here. I'm 14 by the way.
It's nice to know I'm not the only one. I live in a pension villiage and am surounded by senior citizens. I turned 14 last December, I'm starting an online highschool course this year

My parents don't take me anywhere, and I can't drive. There is one store that one of my brothers (Who also can't drive) sometimes walk to. It takes an hour to walk to it, 25 minutes to bike.

My family is starting a homestay program for Jappanese students, and in order to do that we need to pass several examinations, so we're always busy cleaning

replied...well, it's kinda like... umm. What we're gonna do is have parents pay for their kids to stay at our place, kind of like a cultural submursion (live with some Americans before you go to the States, just so you're more prepared) kind of thing.
So like foreign exchange students? I lived in Japan for three years.

I live/lived in Montana, (I'm about to move) and there were hardly any kids around my age up here. They all belonged to an older group. They were AWESOME, but I was the youngest by a year and a half, see? So I was sort of left out... not intentionally, but it happened.
It got better this past year, since I caught up in maturity a little, but I totally know how you feel, from my first two years up here!
Do you have a lot of online friends? Friends from America to chat with through email? I know that helped me a lot to be able to email friends across the country. =)
