Amber Hart vividly describes her memories of summer break in “Senses of Summer” with all her adventures and fun with her friends. She expresses all the senses and the simple but exciting things she did. All the worries and stress were behind her, and she was free to do whatever she wanted.

I agree with her very much. During the summer break, my stress and worrying is gone, and I’m a kid again. I can stay up late at night and not have to worry what time I need to get up in the morning. Everything from ice cream to swimming pools to hanging with my friends is what I live for during this time. As I read this selection, I could really relate to her as if I did the same thing yesterday. It’s as if I don’t have any problems in the world and the next day will be as good as the last, enjoying myself in the relaxation and freedom of summer.
