I found Jen Rubino's interview of Joy Clausen inspirational. Joy was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a type of cancer. Joy's positive outlook in battling cancer moves me because most people in that situation would be devastated. My grandma was diagnosed with breast cancer last year
, and she already had diabetes. I personally thought that my grandma would not make it because I thought she was too weak to surpass chemotherapy. However, she had a positive outlook like Joy and survived. I believe that our prospective in certain situation have a lot to do with the outcome. Why? Because if we choose to think negatively we await for the worst to just hit us. However, if we are optimistic we are setting our minds and our hearts knowing that the situation that we are in is just a storm that will pass, and that will lead us to a brighter future. Honestly, Who would want to live life just knowing that it's ending? Why not just enjoy it whike we have the time?
