Who is to say when I should be sheltered or not? Should I be able to hear about all the injustices in the world? Such as the crisis in Darfur? Should I be able to learn of terrible and devastating events in history? Such as the Holocaust? Where is the line drawn between sheltering and protecting? Or are they the same thing?

I am to say that I should not be sheltered. I should be able to hear about all the injustices in the world and learn of the crisis in Darfur. I should be able to learn of terrible and devastating events in history and study the Holocaust. There is no line between shelter and protection because they are the same thing.
