The Problems With Sports Commentators MAG

By Anonymous

The problem with commentators for professional sports is that going into a game, series, or championship, they are one hundred percent behind one team, and one team only. Now I could understand if they were employed by the team they are commenting for, but when they are commenting for a network, they should show no favoritism for either team until the game has ended. They should give credit to the losing opponent for the good things they did and not discuss the bad misplays made by either team. Just because team match-ups, status, or players are uneven shouldn't influence commentators to back one team and forget the other. The next time you watch a professional or international game (except for professional wrestling), just stop and listen to the comments made by commentators and you'll see the point I'm making. l

I kind of agree but I don't agree about the 1oo% part. They do favor one team but it's not too obvious. I play and watch a lot of sports and it's true almost every commentator has a favored team.
