Broken Heartbeats

Unsheltered my passion is breaking free
Keeping the rhythm of perfect chaos
The frantic beating a desperate plea
The time in my heart forever embossed

My soul won’t heal, split by eternity
Dwelling in the heartbreak, I need to take
A state of unrivaled modernity
Twist it to my form, my spirit it wakes

Tethered so long to a creature of hate
I wade through a tangled, sinister web
A force begotten through methods irate
Fury strikes, but the tide of rage will ebb

Anger unworthy of notice still lives
Victims of love, despite hurt, still forgive.

The author's comments:
This piece stems entirely from raw emotions. Pain, anger, and the feeling of being emotionally suffocated are things that many people feel daily, yet despite that, they still find happiness in their lives.

I like this... and yes, the emotions are quite raw, which is one of the things that I like. Really good work, not everyone can take emotions from their minds and put it accurately onto paper, you did, so congrats!

Check out my work if you  have a chance?
