Educator Of The Year

Brent Dillahunt is a teacher that stands out to me. He is a teacher that really knows how to get the attention of his students. His way of teaching is very unique. He is a teacher that makes his students feel comfortable and welcomed in his classroom. It will be very hard to find another teacher like Mr. Dillahunt. Most Teachers look at their job just as it is a “job”, but Mr. Dillahunt doesn’t. He actually enjoys his job and it is clear to all his students that he loves what he does. Students like the feeling of having a teacher who actually cares about them and not just looks at them as just some kids. I know that if I ever needed any type or support he will be there to help me out with what ever I need.
Mr. Dillahunt is an awesome teacher. He is always trying to see how he can help out the students. He tells them to take harder classes because he wants them to challenge themselves. Also thanks to him, ever two years a group of seniors and juniors get to go to Washington D.C during the week of spring break. He takes the time to organize that event so that the students can have fun. Organizing something like that is not easy but Mr. Dillahunt is willing to take some of his own time just so that we can go to D.C. Another thing I admire about Mr. Dillahunt is his teaching style. When he teaches he makes everything very interesting and easy to learn.
Students having fun while they are learning is a skill that Mr. Dillahunt has mastered. Every person that I have talked to about Mr. Dillahunt has said that Mr. Dillahunt is one of the best teachers they have ever had. He is a great teacher and his students really like him, not just as a teacher but also as a friend. He truly cares about all his students and his students really like having a teacher who cares about them.
