Cleaning commercials are sexist in my opinion. The woman does all of the cleaning and what do the other family members do? The husband, kid, and/or pet make messes and the woman is in charge of cleaning up after them. Even though women are considered free to vote and do what they please, there are still these commercials. I don't see why it is always the woman cleaning up messes. Men are perfectly able to clean up messes also. Sexism against women still exists in many forms whether it may in rap songs, raunchy comedies, and cleaning commercials. In a country where a woman's only jobs isn't cooking, cleaning, and giving birth; these commercials only show women cleaning. It was argued that the commercials are aimed towards single moms which means that it isn't sexist. The thing is - most of the women in the commercials are not single.

Hey husband, clean up your own messes. Hey Mr. Clean, stop standing there with your shiny bald head and help.
