broken glass and bottle tops
empty bags and tin cans
rubber tires and cigarette lighters
plastic shards and gaming cards
china dolls and worn old toys
crumpled pepers and pottery pieces
dead batteries and burt-out lights
old shoes and patches of cloth
dirty coins and candy wrappers

they flutter in the wind
they roll down the street
a testament of our race
built of scraps and human waste
this shall remain long after we're gone
What a proud people!
our legacy lives on
