The Diary of a Young Girl is one of the world's most read books. Discovered in the attic of the writer's father's office building, the diary was translated and published in English in 1952. Anne Frank is not only the main character, but also the author of this unforgettable true story. Born in Germany in 1929, she died in 1945 at the age 15. Written in a diary as letters to “Kitty,” her imaginary friend, Anne shares her life.

The book is incredibly effective, powerful, and beautiful. It opens your eyes and changes your point of view on many things. The book provides good information and a wonderful story. I cannot truly understand what Anne went through, but reading this book gave me a much better understanding of the Holocaust. As you read, you can feel the emotions Anne had.
