So this is the end
say goodbye to my friends
and hope that the
future is as bright as a star
just don't go to fair, they say
just don't work to hard they say
and this the best part
say goodbye to the tree
hello to the street
and hope that they
don't forget that i miss them too
but I'm ready for change
just hope i don't go insane
with in the time that it takes to find my place
and this is the best part

I really liked this. As song lyrics, I could see the genre being alternative-ish with a Jason Mraz-type twist. Or even an Owl City-like techno feel. Ever considered that?
