Success does not come to you... You have to earn it.

These Four Walls are like a cage
I am a prisoner trapped with my rage
They mock me without words
I have wings, but am a flightless bird
In a place with no room to fly
A bird need not try

In these walls, I am like an author
An author without a paper or a pen
without a reason to ever write again
Of these four walls
The one i hate most of all
The one with the door
I despise more and more...

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem awhile ago for an English assignment. I couldn't think of a topic, but while in study hall not doing anything I thought about that. How I never do anything in study hall, mainly because our teacher won't let us do anything, and we can't leave until the bell. Let me know what you think!
