"The Master Class" by Cindy Tay, is a brilliantly written piece that isn't written in the conventional format. The piece is written in what I would call subcategories such as questions, times and thoughts. This feature provides the piece with a unique style and humorous voice not seen in other pieces. Because this piece is written primarily as thoughts, we feel connection with the narrator, intensifying the story.

Another reason I enjoyed this story so much is because of how similar it was to the mind processes of a teenager. Though we don't often like to admit it, teens live in the moment and this piece captures that personality of a teenager. Overall, the piece was excellent and I hope to see more of this author's work in the future.
