Unstable
It’s amazing how quickly something can be gone
 Taken away
 Right from your delicate hands
 Once they’ve disappeared
You see your soul scattered and sprawled throughout the sand
How easy other people can intervene
 From life to death
 And everything in between
It leaves scratches and puncture wounds
All you can seem to do is think of the memories
 Quickly flip through the pictures
 Until they return
 If they ever do
Then you look up into the sky
 You see it’s blue
 The shade of his eyes
Like the last you saw him
 Before the unknowingly silent goodbye
The last things said you will always will remember
 Imbedded in your brain
 You try to erase it
 It’s driving you insane
 You know he wasn’t perfect
 Now ask yourself
 Was it all worth it?
Then again maybe I’m supposed to be here
Maybe I just need to cope
 Instead of losing it all
 Love and hope
I need to indulge in you
 Make myself known
‘Cause you never know how quickly someone can disown
