Love is but a word, a false feeling. Most wouldn't agree, but it's the full-blown truth.

Nobody really cares for love nowadays. The word is thrown around like a rubber bouncy ball, going from one person to another. Though, love shouldn't be treated like a child's toy. It should be prospered
cared for with the utmost passion, much like love in the 'good ole days.'

Years ago, love wasn't meaningless. It wasn't the worthless piece of crumpled up parchment that it is today. Love used to be for married couples and people who actually cared for each other, who intended to be together forever. That was real, true love.

In our present time, people don't do things for love. some marry for money and most only date people for their looks or their bodies. Relationships can last less than 24 hours nowadays. Our present era sickens me with it's grotesque, vain, loveless face.

The Meaning of love has definitely changed over the course of time. It used to be that you would fall in love, get married, have kids, grow old together, and even die together. These days, that is very rare. The word love can make a man run for the hills and split a girl's heart in two. I agree that 'love' can be powerful, maybe even life-changing, but is it really worth saying if you don't mean it?
