"Nan kuru nai sah."

A dark shadow loomed over the city
An enormous raven as a messenger of death
It swooped down on its target without any mercy
The attacker meant for nothing to be left

On impact, the beast deteriorated into dust
After that, the fire began to spread
It grew and burned with malevolent bloodlust
The flames swallowed both alive and dead

Many tried to flee from the frightful blaze
Others knew that there was no hope
Were they in their right mind or a fear-struck daze?
It was obvious that there was no time to cope

There came another raven
It was like a missile from the sky
The mass made onlookers more than craven
The air was filled with a simultaneous cry

More chaos broke out
No one thought this was possible
Now that this happened, there was no doubt
How could anyone survive such an arsenal?

That was when the structure collapsed
A large cloud of smoke erupted from it
Lovers and others fell to their knees with their hands clasped
This is something that would not permit

No one shall ever forget that September day
With more than two thousand lost…
It was more than two ravens that made a great nation sway
