When you're little its said you have more faith and believe in so much more when your little. I remember enjoying Princess tales when I was younger but as a I grow older I dislike them.
When you become a teenager and start dealing with boys it's not a fairy tale at all. Truth is guys are more ambitious in fairy tales than in real life. My dad said he was too shy to ask out any girls in High school.
The pretty, air headed, popular kids can end up getting the boyfriends over the girls who actually have a decent head on their shoulders.
The part that always gets me now is when they live happily ever after. Think about all the kids who are going through divorce. Happy ever after doesn't always happen.

If you are attracted to a guy start talking to him and get to know him. Don't wait on him to make the first move because what if he doesn't.

Relationships can end for various reasons. I would say the most common reason relationships don't always work is due to time management difficulties or there being too much of a distance. Homework depending on the classes you take can be time consuming. Unfortunately it sometimes is hard to balance a social life and your grades.
As a Senior when you start applying for colleges the college your boyfriend or girlfriend applied for may be a distance for you both. If you break up over that don't feel stupid, because it's a situation that I know happens to numerous kids.
I also don't think being in a loving relationship always means coming home after work to your wife and kids. A friend of mine is dating a guy in the military. They skype each other and it least once a month see each other in person. It all depends on who you are.

The point is don't give up your career for someone else. I plan on going into showbiz pursuing my dream of becoming a professional singer. One of my fear's I've always had is finding someone who I love and then us breaking up over it being a distance. I'm single now but I'm not going to worry about that. I think when I find the one he'll understand that I do have talent and deserve a chance to expose it before I'm dead.
