The folktale version of the web sensation by ‘Randall’

One day Leonardo the lion, Jacob the wolf, Johnnie the Jackal and Randall the honey badger went hunting together. They caught and killed a wildebeest, a zebra, a wild ass and a hare. There was only one problem; no one knew how to divvy up their prey. Leonardo glared at the Jacob and asked, "Jacob, you may divide the meat for us today, remember to be fair." The wolf nodded and replied, "I believe that Randall should receive the hare, Johnnie will get the wild ass, you can have the zebra and I will be content with only the wildebeest." Then he bowed to Leonardo, “Thank you my King,” and he walked over to the wildebeest to feast. Upon hearing this Leonardo roared “Fool!” for he was the largest animal of them all, and deserved the largest portion, and struck his paw across the wolf's head thus killing him.

Leonardo then turned to the jackal, who was cowering near by, " Jacob, how do you believe the meal should be divided up?" Johnnie smirked and added jokingly. " How about you have the hare, and I'll split the rest with Randall." He burst out laughing, Johnnie laughed like a hyena at a comedy club. Leonardo then pounced on him and ripped him limb from limb, he threw the jackal's carcass in the pile of meat.

The lion glared at the honey badger with eyes full of rage. "How do you want the meal divided up?" The Lion asked. Now Randall, during the time that the lion was questioning the other animals, had dragged the dead prey up into a nearby tree, for he was the strongest of all the animals in the animal kingdom. "I would have loved to share, but I am afraid that I might be killed if I tried that so..." Randall scurried up the tree, "I will feast for my fallen brethren." Leonardo roared and clawed viciously at the tree, but he couldn't climb up. For three days and three nights he roared and clawed at the tree, without any rest. On the fourth day, Leonardo collapsed and died of exhaustion. The Honey Badger came down from the tree in triumph. He had conquered the mighty lion.

The moral to the story is don't be greedy as Leonardo was, for it will come back around to bite you. And never, ever....mess with the honey badger.
