Favorite Quote:
Happiness is only real when shared

Is it all true?
Can it be real?
To experience this life beyond touch and feel

A world we visit
Early before the sun
Where our hearts, minds, and spirits become one

The starry sky is dark
But our imagination, bright
To soak in the beauty, bask in the light

We are explorers, adventurers
Along for the risk-ridden ride
I know I’ll be safe with you by my side

Each mountain, we conquer
Each hill, we roll down
Through every deserted timberland, tundra, and town

And at the end of the journey
I open my eyes
And see yours staring right back, withered yet wise

Can it be real?
Is it all true?
That I’ve been living this dream, my life, wide awake with you

Every morning at around 4 am (I know, early right) my girlfriend and I would wake up to explore the beauty around us this Florida summer. And every second, we never felt more alive appreciating the forests, grasslands, lakes, and, most importantly, each other before the sun rose. It was the best time of our young lives yet and the start of a life-long journey to see the sights of the world, and discover the timeless tale of love in our own hearts. This poem gives only a glimpse of everything we felt in these before-dawn adventures and it symbolizes the ride of life each of us embark, from its ups and downs, living our dreams 'til the end. Dreaming awake.
