A Very Sad Game

It Was A Cold Day In Cuenca,Ecuador And I Was Sick. I Was Around 7 Or 8 Years Old. I Had A Soccer Game At 10 Am. I Woke Up At 9 Am. The Court/Field Is Right Next To My Grandpa’s House. I Get Up And Took A Shower. I Put On My Soccer Uniform And Go Downstairs To Eat Breakfast. My Grandpa Gave Me Juice And Scrambled Eggs. I felt energized. My Drowsy Self Had To Drink Medicine. My Mom Woke Up And Said Good Luck To Me ? . I went outside and I saw my teammates.

My friend Miguel said Hi when we all was warming up. My grandpa shouted “Ready,GO!” and we started the game. It was cold and it was drizziling a little bit. I was heading for the goalie and then..blank. When I kicked the ball but someone kicked my ankle instead. The gamestopped and I was bleeding because of the cement floor. I was crying of the pain and my mom rushed me to the hospital.

A few moments later , I was rushed to the hospital and the doctor said my bone was dislocated. So, in Ecuador, they don’t have x-rays, casts or these doctor things. They have to massage your ankle and re-locate it. It doesn’t hurt but it will make you feel better. The doctor said I cant play for a year ?. I was devastated. I could play my life, my joy anymore for a long time. That made me really sad.

A year went by and I feel like nothing ever happend. I was in New York at home resting. I wanted to go to the doctors office to do ana x-ray and how my ankle is. The doctor said that my ankle was fine. I got hype and went home to go get my soccer ball and go to the field near my house. I went and finally I can play.
