The world of film and motion picture plays a key role in the lives of most Americans. Most Americans have seen at least one movie in their lifetime. Movies speak to the masses, and provide those watching a brief escape into a world far more interesting or exciting than the ones they are living. A good movie not only entertains an individual, but also is able to touch its viewers in a way that is so remarkable, that it becomes unforgettable.

Titles such as, The Avengers and The Terminator, draw in their audiences by creating a realm of excitement that is unknown to the common person. It allows those watching to become immersed in a world that offers car chases and explosives that are unseen on a day to day basis. Those classic action movies are those that use the action as a way to tie in life lessons and insightful tidbits to be carried away after the last credit rolls away.

Other movies play to one’s emotional side to gain viewership. Movies such as The Notebook and The Last Song use unbelievably romantic stories that tug on the human heartstrings and cause one to feel an intense burst of emotion. Those able to become classics are those that speak to the heart and resonate in the minds of viewers. They are thought about far after the movie ends and such romantic or touching stories become the pinnacle of romantic.

Movies affect the average person in more ways than one. It is ensured that there is a movie for every person, an audience for every plot, and story for every character.
