Entering the realm of shrouded mystery
Lies a world of treachery and fiction
That draws its tells from future and history
Elaborated from by eloquent diction
In the place where desire meets willpower
Where love strikes matches against fear and darkness
And shows us a place where evil will cower
The world where nothing over comes truthfulness
Found in the words done with permanent ink
Between the lines is something everyone can seek
Place of their own where they can truly think
Somewhere, someplace that will never be meek
Whether it comes from their thoughts or a book
Everyone needs a place where only they can look
