I went to the store to find some lipstick. I’m unfamiliar with the classiness that lipstick evolves. I took a friend along for some insight. She’s fashionista times ten. While walking along the shiny black and white tiles, she halted, causing me to walk right into her backside. After that awkward moment, she carefully selected 3 different shades. We got all three.

After we checked out, we rushed to the car. Impatiently, we ripped off the plastic wrap keeping us from the lush color sticks. The first color we tried was Stoplight Red. It was a little dramatic, but I could picture wearing it to a formal event. One filled with lots of vampires. It was very red…

Next we tried Cherry Bomb. What a deceiving name. Honestly, it looked more like an aged grape puked all over my lips. Off like a prom dress that color did scram. There was no possible occasion where that color would be socially acceptable. Not even a Halloween party. It was repulsive.

Lastly, we slowly unwrapped Just Peachy. This was our last chance to make me a classy woman. I stalled for a moment, watching my dreams of wearing lipstick fade into the cold night. While thinking of other ways to make myself classier, she applied the new color to my well-scrubbed lips. I watched her eyes light up. It was either going to be just as repulsive as the two colors prior, or it was going to be a steal.

I can honestly say that that was the best buy I’ve made in a while. It went on like silk, leaving behind a line of the prettiest peach color I had ever seen. It stays on all day, which is very convenient. Lipstick is great; everyone should wear it! Stay classy!
