“Lights are bright, won’t stop tonight, cut the lines, all the way to the golden shine,” sang the artist SoMo during his new hit My Life. Thousands of people listen to different genres of music these days and they get very into the music in different ways. There should not be a law for banning music on the streets, because music to most people is their life. Just listening to that one song could remind that person of an emotional time in their life and that song could have helped them in some way. Music is a part of people’s everyday life.

Thousands of people walk the streets of big cities daily. There are plenty of things you have to be aware of wherever you walk and whenever you walk in big cities. There are street lights and signals, pedestrian walk ways, traffic, other people and stores. No doubt that traffic is the worst concern in the city but you also have to be cautious around other people too. They don’t like to be bumped, bothered, or distracted. They are just walking to and from there destination. That is why pedestrians put headphones in, to concentrate and to get where they want to go.

Another reason society puts headphones in is so they can protect their personal life, and so they don’t have to deal with other peoples loud music or there other problems. The other pedestrians could be fighting with there spouse, having an argument on the phone, or get so mad playing a game. People are different and react differently to different things, and nobody wants to deal with that.

Everyone is different and listens to different kinds of music. It is there freedom to listen to their music if they want to. Nobody can take that away from them, even if they think it is annoying for being too loud or for the way you act when you listen to music. You have the right to listen to music and act how you want, whenever you want. You are your own person and can be how you want to be. Everybody loves music, and it is a part of people’s everyday life.

Parts of the people in the United States want this law for headphone use to pass. When people are driving and a pedestrian walks out in front of the moving vehicle, cars have to automatically stop for people but it is also the pedestrians fault because they have to be aware of the situations and know what is going on. However, if it is safe for a pedestrian to walk when the vehicles are stopped they can walk. Some people that use headphones, don’t pay attention and they need to. It is mostly about paying attention and being aware.

Always make sure that you are cautious of each situation when you’re on the streets, you have you own privacy so nobody will bug you and it is your freedom to listen to music if that’s what you want to choose. From all the deaths and accidents that have happened from headphone use, people have to be familiar to their surroundings.
