Life was not given to you by God to be rushed. Every moment isn’t meant to be something you’ve waited for. You were not born young and naïve wishing you were old and wise. Why do you want to move through every stage of your life so quickly? You will run your race with blurred vision, and miss the beauty of the world around you, you will pass the finish line and look back and say, “Why didn’t I stop to see the people on the stands, or the flowers blow in the wind behind the stadium fence, and the sun set behind the stadium fence?” Life isn’t all about the words, finally I did this - finally I did that. Stop; and think. You’re blessed, to be wise and old you have to be young, wild, and free. Stop running through life without thinking, or paying attention to yourself and your surroundings, because you’ll only learn the lessons if you remember what you did to get to the finish line.
