Look around your room. What do you see? Your bed? A desk? Your dresser? That dresser has drawers, that have nails and handles. Is the dest a whole object? Or just the nails and wood?

Is an object the whole entity, or the pieces that make it up? If the parts are the object and you were to take apart a camera then put it back together, is it the same camera? If following Mereological nihilism which theories about the relation of parts to wholes. The name stemming from the greek word “meros” meaning parts. And philosophers that follow Mereological nihilism will argue that objects that have parts do not exist; and that the only true objects have no parts at all. That the only true objects are fundamental particles, which they call “simples”. So the camera is not an object itself, but the collection of simples arranged as a camera.
   

 If we take a look at Earth, would it be a collection of simples arranged as the earth, or is the earth composed of things composed of simples arranged as people, animals, dishware ect. But all of those things composed of parts are simples arranged in the shapes of nails, fabrics, chains, book pages, the books themselves down and down till you reach the photons, neutrinos, and electrons and quarks that make up the very matter that fashion the universe itself. Or would you consider the universe an object? With the universe expanding as we speak the simples that have and are multiplying to uncountable numbers and powers we are incapable to predict and comprehend.
   

 If we ourselves are simples in the shape of systems and tissues and emotions are our cells themselves the objects or organelles that make them up? Our body’s and emotions are so complex and ever existent. Thats why being objectified can be so offensive, because we are not objects, we are a collection of simples shaped arranged to help people, show emotion, create, and be alive.
