The sun beamed on her face which was looking at a crack in the sidewalk like a spider web, creating a beautiful, natural glow on her defined cheek. All he could do was look at her. She was gorgeous. The wind blew her hair gently and her white blouse moved in the wind like a flag during surrender. He couldn't help but stare at the beautiful wonder in front of him. Looking up at him, her red lips parted; showing her perfectly white teeth.

She let out a laugh, "What? Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Babe?"

She sounded so concerned when she decided to answer, "Um, yes? What is it?"

He bent down and reached into the garden next to the sidewalk, pulling out a red tulip. Moving closer to her, he handed her the flower. A slight smile was painted on her face. He couldn't help but smile back at her. Brushing the hair out of her face-- their eyes met, while their smiles intensified.

"What were you going to say?" she decided to question him once more.

"I love you." escaped his lips; they rested there for months, waiting for the right time to slip off into her ears; he had been questioning his answer for as long as he had known her.

Her smile grew, while her hands reached towards her stomach. He'd known her long enough to learn she always did this when she had butterflies flying wildly within her stomach, acting as if she could calm them down with the tough of her hands. She began to answer; her voice was faint but able to be heard.

"I love you, too."
