Buried deep in Waukesha County is a park with abounding activities and pathways...it is Nashotah Park.  Nashotah Park has 444 acres of rolling hills, grass prairies, woodlands, and wetlands.  This is a place where I spend time with friends and family, getting exercise as we grow closer to each other.
Twisting trails travel through the park, exploring the land.  These trails have uses no matter the weather conditions,--cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, sledding, fishing, biking, and even a dog exercise area. It allows people and dogs of any age to enjoy themselves in a safe wilderness environment.
Nashotah Park thrives with every season.  As summer changes to autumn, the leaves vibrantly vary their colors to reds and oranges, which slowly slip to the ground.  As winter follows the natural lake freezes over, and sheets of snow cover the trees.  Spring brings the sprouting of flowers and tree buds, along with the sweet songs of the many songbirds.  Nashotah Park is a home, not only to the daily visitors, but also to the animals and the greenery which thrive there.
Waukesha County has many parks, but none just like Nashotah Park.  Nashotah Park is the treasure of Waukesha County.
