"As a Soldier"
As a soldier I’m supposed to help.
Instead I stood there and yelped.
The poor fellows lined up in rows,
Wearing yellow stars,
Standing on their toes.
What they made these people do,
Made me and everyone else around blue.
How they did it was truly insane.
These poor people suffered true pain.
I never knew what they actually did.
And to realize they tortured an innocent kid.
Wow! Look how these people suffered.
Vile threats were also offered.
All the innocents randomly slaughtered.
To stand here and gaze.
I wouldn’t forget this for days.
