As I sit and watch the ocean's waves crash onto the gritty sand I think about the future.  I think about what our oceans will like like in forthcoming years.  I think about how not only will plant life be stripped from the oceans, but sea creatures as well.  I think about how there is a mass of garbage twice the size of Texas inside the Pacific Ocean.  My mind crosses over the thought of how the number of plastic pieces of pollution off the coast of California outnumbers marine life 6 to 1.  If you think that pollution isn't a global problem, you are mistaken.  This problem is not inevitable, but it needs to be exposed to the inhabitants of the world.
