Mass Effect is a great game if you love sci-fi.  The plot is believable and the characters and story will draw you in. This isn’t just a “shoot ‘em up” action game, but something more. It is a game about fantasy fulfillment that puts the player in the role of Commander Shepard. A male or female human special forces member tasked with stopping the Reapers, a hyper-advanced machine race dedicated to destroying all sentient life every few billion years.  The resulting story is an amazing mix of adventure, action, romance, and mystery that plays like an interactive movie.  I would highly recommend checking this game out for any Sci-Fi fans interested in video games, or in making their mark in a highly detailed universe.
