My Type of Girl by Ellen Considine is a short story about self discovery. The main character goes through many phases in which she believes she is a lesbian. She doesnt do "girly" things like gossiping or makeup. She prefers to do more 'boyish" things like playing sports and wearing baggy clothing. This article is an amazing one and it greatly conveys the struugle and the differences of the main character.

   This article spoke to me. The author really portrayed how she is diefferent than any other girl. For example, in the article she says " Crushes and makeup and cellphones on infinite repeat..Sports and school made so much more sense." This shows how the main character differed from the other girls. This article was a really good one.
