There is not enough darkness in the world to put out the light of one single candle.

Today was the day
you were gonna do it
no one knew
what you had planned
to do later that night
when you were all alone
deep into the night.
You had cried yourself
to bed
one to many times
over the stuff that mattered the most
No one seemed to notice
that you were not yourself
but did you expect them too
to everyone else you're just another girl
so you made up your mind
Today's the day
you were gonna do it

Her parents called her depressed
her friends talked behind her back
You called her ugly
but no one seen this happening
the next day was filled with sadness
Her parents stayed in bed
Her friends cried all day
You couldn't process it all
She told you she was gonna do it
You told her that it was a joke
No one believed her
You could have saved her
You never thought that a hug could have made her stay
But in her note it stated
I only wanted him to hug me
to tell me that it was gonna be okay
to tell me that i am worth fighting for
but it didn't happen so now i'm here
so i now say goodbye
to the ones i love the most
goodbye.

Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Thank you very much. I have, through out my life dealt with depression and cutting. People often come to me when they need help. I often think about writing a book. My creative writing teacher was the one who inspired me to post this piece, and is now trying to get me to put all my pieces together. Anyways im glad you liked the piece.

"Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree. It will live its whole life believing that it is stupid." - Albert Eistiene

This is an amazing beautiful poem that contributes to thoughs who have been hurt by many and who have been bullied I can relate to this poem in many ways witch is why I love it your an amazing writer and an amazing person to write something like this for someone who you knew was going through something simular to this keep writing don't quit either because your doing great! And when you think it is time write a book with all of your writen and collected poems and Rymns and write a book. I am personally my poems are about bullying and scicides often mostly because I cut myself and I get bullied although with help from my loving and caring friend I got through it and now I write to stop bullies and to show others that there not alone and I support you 100% and will be willing to help you anyway possible anything to help the cause! Your poem is beautifully writen! XD I won't bore you with anymore chatter I also apologize if this comment is long I have writers block once I start typing or writing I can't stop so I indeed do apologize for that.
