"Oh, he's rude to everyone," said Isabelle airly. "It's what makes him so darn sexy."

It was a normal Friday night on the streets of Paris. Nothing was unusual, as people walked around the streets, ate in restaurants, enjoyed a football match, unaware of the horrors that were about to occur.
On that night, terrorist attacks coordinated by ISIS took place in multiple locations in Paris. A total of 129 people were killed, and hundreds were injured by masked gunmen and suicide bombers. Five locations throughout Paris were attacked, including a cafe, a sports stadium and a theatre, sending the city into shock and terror. Wounded were taken to the safety of nearby apartments by escaping victims, where people hurriedly welcomed them into their homes.

ISIS announced that they had conducted these attacks of terrorism against the city of Paris. It was an alarming warning to the world, showing how strong ISIS had become and what horrible crimes against humanity they would commit without showing any remorse or regret.

“It’s not just an attack on Paris, not just the people of France, but it’s an attack on all of humanity and all of the values that we share,” spoke President Obama from the White House on the evening following the attacks.

A lot of people are worried about where ISIS will attack next. Will it be more destructive? Will it affect the way of our life? Currently, there is high security all over Paris and at large gatherings all around the world. If ISIS were to attack, many nations will be ready to defend themselves against them. This group is becoming stronger because of its stolen oil supply, giving them the ability to sell  oil. They also disenfranchise people suffering from poverty by promising them a better life for them and their family if they join ISIS, making them loyal to it.

The world is being greatly affected by these attacks, but something we all must realize is that this is not the only attack that has happened recently. Sadly, attacks like this happen very often, but on a smaller scale. The media only prefers to focus on the nations that are economically stable and known to many people around the world. When is the last time you ever saw this much attention pulled to a terrorist attack that happened somewhere in Syria or Afghanistan? We only hear the stories of urban areas because the media thinks it affects people more directly.

Something that comes with great shock to me is that most state governors in America are not allowing Syrian refugees to immigrate to the state they govern. They are mostly worried about the male refugees, because they seem the most likely to commit an act of terrorism. Though this may be the truth, we are the United States. A country who supports freedom and justice for all people who live there. Many other countries have already taken many immigrants, but we are barely letting any in.

In conclusion, I think that all of these horrible acts of terrorism that take place in different area around the world are terrible. If we were to always be kind to each other, kindness would be the norm. We would be helping other people without even realizing it. I hope the best for every victim of terrorism and their families.
