Failure

I was fast as lightning! I zoomed down the road that is very slick like a slug. I hope I don’t fall. (Again) I hit a rock the size of a mouse, and my bike went into the frosty air. I hit down again and my head bops up and down like a pigeon's. I feel like my brain is going to explode! It’s also throbbing so much that I can’t think where I’m going. Black explodes in the corners of my eyes. All of a sudden I see -barely- a big maple leaf tree up ahead of me, I can’t help to think, this isn’t going to end well.

I heard a scream, it was very loud. I thought it didn’t belong to me, but it did. Then another 5 seconds after the straight road it curved down. Then my bike went up and of the ground as an airplane would.  “I swear this is the last day of my life!” I screamed once again. I could already feel the pain before it happens. I was scared for my life. I hit the ground, on something sharp. A rock, It wasn’t sharp enough to puncture my tire though. So that’s good. I had a harsh feeling that I might brake something. Or dislocate something. I didn’t want tot be here. I should of listen to my parents. They said not to go down here for a reason right?

Then I fell onto the gravel. I felt like I was on sand. It wasn’t as hard as I thought it was going to be. This is weird and crazy! But it sure is fun! But I am slowly regreting the desicion. I thought I was on the smooth road. But it turns out that the road I was riding on actually leads back to my gravel road, to go to the house. The gravel to the house is harder than the gravel on the road. It’s concrete too. I am still on my bike, it just flipped over. But I knew I was going to fall one point on this crazy ride. I smell the dirt. The smell is foul in my nostrils. I also see some of the lights on in my house, before I fell off my bike. And I have no air at all in my lungs. Actually I don’t feel like I even have lungs!

I went inside my blue-grayish house. When you go in there is the laundry room. Then you walk into a hallway that is white. You have to take a sharp right turn then left turn. Then you take one more right turn and then there is a bathroom. It had white walls with a wooden door. Single sink with a closet on the right to the door. I saw myself in the mirror, I was gray and white. I was fully covered in gravel. I wiped of to remove the gravel, which was stinging my skin. I looked and there was no scars at all, no bruises. I was very surprised. “Thank you God.”  I walk out of the shinning light. I saw my brother standing in awe. “What?” I said. He just went back in his small room. I went in mine, and I was happy. I thought about what happend resantly. It sure was fun, but I am not going to do that. (yet.)

I learned that you should listen to your parents, because what they say not to do, is for a good reason. It’s not to punish you, it’s to make sure you are safe. And I learned that the hard way. So to this day I will always try to do what my parents say, no promises, because it’s not that easy.

The time I went down a road that I shouldn't have. My teacher, Mrs. Lothian at TMS, made us do this. But I like writting so, it was a fun project.
