In “Over a Text”, Emma Honsowetz explains what its like to get broken up with in a text message. She explains, “You waited to see if something I did caught your interest. And instead of explaining things face to face like a decent person one, you texted. You told me how little I meant to you, how everything I did, everything I told you in confidence, everything I spent – emotionally and capitally – was in vain.” It shows that someone can be hurt easily by text, and that people should just do it in person to show you are a decent person. Nobody deserves to get broken up with in a text from someone.
