How enticing it is to be a part of this world!

And strangely though!, being a part of this world does not mean having a string of people always ready to rattle with you. For me, it is the feeling of being so small and meek, and so dependent on His creations, and trying to leave a footprint behind. To swoon in the misty roads which lead to absolutely nowhere in particular but leaves you with a memory for a lifetime.

I still remember the time when we were travelling from Darjeelingto Sikkim. The sinuous path track left me almost dizzy and the tall trees which presented a gamut of the shades of green! I fail to transfer those on to my drawing book even after mixing a range of artificial paint.

And the way the santhaali kids in Shantiniketan were shying away after realizing that they were being shot! Those strange smiling faces clicked a chord in me and my new friends bid me adieu as I left them.

Seriously, there is nothing in this world if it is not for these Natural jewels. The unadulterated world is where I want to catapult myself to! The voice of silence is something that I sometimes wish I could play on my mobile amidst the bustle of this city life!

Well! This is definitely so peaceful and serene. But, none-the-less, travelling to the ‘busy places’ also leave you with an amazing broth to serve in front of an amazed audience.

For instance, I can never forget the “ghost” who chased me down the banks of River Thames and who finally caught me off-guard at the Underground without his make-up on and shook the hell out of me!!

It sends ripples through my body whenever I think of the episode when I dropped my purse at a theatre show at the Cruise and the Receptionists bluntly refused to have come across any “mustard-yellow” purse. But when my parents insisted on meeting the Head Security Personnel and interviewed me!
Oh Ghawd! I could almost feel my bleached out face! I never knew that I knew the minutest details of my “mustard-yellow” purse so well. Wow! Now, even if I want to, I can’t throw it away.

Sometimes I do feel that I am a douche-head!
There I was, sitting in the waiting lounge at the airport, chatting away to glory on Facebook (thinking highly about myself on availing the free internet Wi-Fi), not realizing that it was already time to board the flight until final calls were being made for ‘Miss. Vagisha Anant”. Silly me!

Travelling solo does sometimes gets a tad risky. But if it has to happen, it shall, no matter what!

So, here is the final one for you, to steal the complete show:

Was heading to Jharsuguda, Odisha with my didi. We took our seats and the train left the platform of the Nizamuddin Railway Station. As conversations with co-passengers commenced, we realized, something was wrong!
Whoa! On the wrong train!!
Yes, this sounds cooked. But it is real!
Where everyone was gaping at us, I was laughing at the close resemblance to my the-then favourite movie, Jab We Met. And then we jumped out of the superfast Ujjain Express to land on stone and sticks with a torn sock. And climbed up the Tilak Bridge only to find a lone Auto to save our day! And off we went to the station again, only to find our actual train, Utkal Express, on the very same platform!

Whoa! Travelling is so fun. It is about feeling those adrenaline bursts in your body as much as it is to feel that the soil you stand upon is a part of you! Travelling is my escape and post/pre-travelling thinking, oxygen!

Who said Time-Travel isn’t possible?
I just came from one!
