Little World Of Mine

By allie_stevens32, Somerset, KY

You'll hold my hand, you'll kiss my neck
And say those words I won't forget.
You'll make this little world of mine.

You'll say I'm pretty, and take me out.
You'll show me what love's all about,
In this little world of mine.

You'll fulfill, my hopeless dreams.
We'll sew our love, at the seams.
Let's complete this little world of mine.

We'll watch 80’s movies; you'll play with my hair.
It's the little things, that'll show you care.
Care about, this little world of mine.

Your presence will make me, feel so safe.

I really thought you were talking about somebody that you were already in a relationship with. Adding the last stanza really hit me hard. Great job! I also LOVE how your stanzas had an odd number of lines. I love it when poets add interesting, uncommon properties to their poems; it really changes the entire flavor of the poem.
