Quotes. A life lesson squished into a single meaningful sentence, usually said or written by a famous person.
I remember last year when I was assigned a 10-chapter novella for my English class. I decided to add quotes to the beginning of each chapter. One quote that I memorized verbatim was "The first ten year's of a girl's life are spent playing with Barbies and the next ten years are spent trying to look like one." The message, not only directed to girls living in the contemporary era, is don't epitomize a stereotype. Instead, be yourself and if you aren't perfect, you've already achieved perfection. (I just made a quote out of a quote.)
You see, there are quotes about everything-friends, love, life, death, etc. there are even quotes about pets, politics, and yes, there are quotes about quotes. If you're ever in need of some inspiration, humor, or joy, search up "quotes" or a random quote. They can guide us through life's hectic journey full of trouble, fear, and worry.
From the words of Dorothy L. Sayers, I quote "I always have a quotation for everything. It saves original thinking."
