Success

It's amazing how success can affect your life. One little "atta girl" or "atta boy," and suddenly your life isn't as bleak as it was a second before. Just recently I participated in a marching competition with my band. We got 2nd place. I was ecstatic, not only for my own accomplishment but for the whole organization. Last year we were 32nd out of 32 bands. Now I have a whole different outlook on what lies ahead for the Marching 100. This little bit of success has made all the difference in our future competitions this year. We've been there once, so why not again? To all of you fellow marching band members, hang in there! Just keep leaving it all on the field. Your trophy will come eventually! Just remember that Halftime IS game time!

I completely agree. I think that suceeding is good and the only time it isn't is when someone gets a big head and a big ego about it and suddenly they start thinking they are better than everyone else because of it. That is when it isn't good. Great job! I think you will go far in life. :)

I like it. Its your own opinion and you strongly believe in it. You write what you believe, and its somewhat of a life lesson. The difference of what you write and what I write is that mine has more of a cynical twist. Nice work.
