The question was simple, and yet so complex. The worlds spelt out so clearly and yet, the answer so fogged up.
I listened as he asked her that one question, and as I walked away that day I thought hard about it. It wasn’t a proposal, but something else.
If I could change one thing in my life what would it be?
I thought for a moment and then the answer came to me. If I could change one thing, I would laugh with you, cry with you, talk to you, and spend time with you. I would be closer to you, go fishing with you, and make fun of people with you. I would gain a better relationship with you, because I look up to you. I would share more interests and hobbies with you. You’re my big brother, I wish you could see me the way I have come to see you…As you are. That is what I would change. I have this yearning for that, to have a close relationship with you. You mean that much to me.
But the question is, What Would You Change?
