Teen Ink

Summary: Hippolyta is a warrior. She is recruited by Alexander when his campaign leads him to Sparta. She resents him; wants to leave the army; but her training binds her to loyalty. She witnesses Alexander's murder and is asked by him on a dying breath to take his place. Blessed by the gods she leads the army for twelve years before dying to be with Hephaestion; her love interest.
