The New Kid

“So Samantha what are you going to do after school?” said Eliza.
“I know I know! I am going to meet you at your locker afterschool. You’ve only reminded me of this like oh, I don’t know, a MILLION times!” replied Sam.
“Hey I just want to make sure you come, okay? Mom would kill me if I lost you. (Pulls car into Middle School Parking lot) “Okay, go enjoy your first day as an eighth grader at your new Middle School! I will see you after school to take you home,” said Eliza.
“I’ll try… Since we just moved I don’t know anyone here. (Looks down saddened) I hope I make a friend…” said Sam.
(Hugs her little sister) Oh I am sure you will make plenty! And meet a cute guy or two. (Smiles) Now go on to school, you don’t want to be late!” said Eliza.
“Ew boys! They have coodies you know. Bye!” replied Sam.
(Car door closes, Sam walks towards the entrance and waves)
