Summary: 15 year old Briar lives the perfect life, a good school, cool parents and a spoilt life on her small island. But leading to' unfortunate circumstances, Briar must leave everything and everyone she knows behind and move to Alberta with another family on a farm.
Briar finds it hard to settle in with the couple, and tries not to completly hate where she lives, but it's hard seen as they have horses and live on a farm, everything Briar hates.
But she learns to love her new life and the family she is with and meets a beautiful horse named Chance, who is a reject animal no one wants. With the help of her new found friend, Briar trians Chance to become an amazing show horse. And by finding all of Chances potential, she ends up discovering her own self.
