Teen Ink

Summary: Avery has lived at Coldlake since she was eight. Coldlake is a school for special kids; kids with powers. At Coldlake they are protected from Shadow Demons; dark, evil creatures that will kill anybody with powers, anybody they can get their hands on. A new student shows up and the schools only source of protection; a ruby gets stolen. Avery and her friends venture to the city of Charleston to find the Shadow Demons' hideout and get their ruby back.
