Summary: Julia was trained to believe that, in a world that involved the Shifters and their never ending crusade to dominate the world and the human race, hope didn't exist. At least, not for her kind anyway. Ones born with the Mark were nothing but born assassins-the genetic ability to give everything up in battle running through her veins. At seventeen, she'd seen more death and destruction in the hands of the bloodthristy monsters than she'd like to remember, and given up more than anyone could ever imagine. She was the last of the Marked, and the fate of the world rested in her hands.
